Arsene Wenger eyes surprise move for in-from star man
Arsenal are reportedly preparing summer move for Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic.
The 21-year-old has impressed since breaking into the Benfica first team, netting one goal and creating three more in 14 games for the club across all competitions so far this season.
The Serb only joined the Portuguese side from Partizan Belgrade last summer, however, he was already on Arsenal’s radar before that switch.
The North Londoners sent scouts to observe Zivkovic at the Under-21 European Championship last term and have stayed to monitor his development with a view to a future move.
Sports Witness suggests that Arsenal could now look to make that move at the end of this campaign as they look to reinforce their attacking options.
Arsene Wenger is set for further strengthen his squad in the summer after the January transfers of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan as he efforts to turn his Arsenal team into title challengers once again.
