Deal Close: Chelsea dealt massive blow in hunt for 23 goals striker

Jiangsu Suning have reportedly agreed to land Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye.

Earlier this campaign, Chelsea were linked with the striker, who has netted a total of 23 goals from 28 games during the current season.

But, as reported by The Sun, a deal is in place for the 25-year-old to make the massive switch to the Chinese Super League.

With Blues boss Antonio Conte earlier signed Boakye during his time at Juventus, the move comes as a shock, however, the Ghanaian international is just one of some names to seal moves to China in last days.

Newly-promoted Dalian Yifang have finalized the high-profile additions of Jose Fonte, Yannick Carrasco and Nicolas Gaitan.

Meanwhile, As Spanish publication Don Balon claims, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is desperate to avoid losing the 27-year-old Belgian to Real Madrid.

There have been plenty of rumours about Hazard’s departure to Santiago Bernabeu. The Blues have been in talks with their superstar over a contract extension, but he is holding back at the moment.

And it is claimed Abramovich has now slapped a £15million-per-season deal on the table. But, according to the reports from Don Balon, even the club’s President’s intervention might not be enough.

Hazard has set a pretty hard task to himself as wishes to challenge Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the Ballon d’Or.

Belgian international is currently under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2020.

Speaking earlier this week, Hazard admitted, that no matter the talks involving PSG and Real Madrid, he feels comfortable in London, but he is not sure if this can last forever. Belgian stated that in case he wishes to change clubs, he will.

“I still have two years left on my contract,” he said. “I feel very good over here. The fans love me; my family enjoys life over here. We will see.
