Juventus have reportedly settled that they are ready to double the salaries of defender Alex Sandro.

During the summer, Sandro was a target for Chelsea, and although Juventus were lucky in keeping hold of the full-back, there has been the talk of revived interest from the West Londoners.

The Blues are allegedly ready to spend as much as £60m to complete a signing regarded as high-priority by manager Antonio Conte however according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus are set to respond with an offer of their own.

The Serie A side are believed to be set to give the South American a package of €5m per season, as well as a deal which would be extended until 2022.

The 26-year-old has netted six times in 81 games since leaving Porto for Juve in 2015.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Liverpool are both interested in signing young Crystal Palace attacker Joseph Hungbo, as reported by the Mirror.

The story suggests that both Premier League sides have their eye on Hungbo, who has caught the eye after some convincing displays at youth level.

The teenager has been cited as one of the hottest talents in Palace’s academy, which has not gone unnoticed.

Chelsea themselves are renowned for searching the country to find the best young footballers.

Hongbo, a quick left attacker, has been at Palace since the age of nine and come through the ranks at the club.
