Liverpool ready to offload three players for just £62m

Liverpool are reportedly confident of selling Lazar Markovic, Mamadou Sakho and Alberto Moreno for a mixed fee of around £62m this summer.

The winger and Sakho both spent last campaign out on loan having been deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Jurgen Klopp, while Moreno made just two Premier League starts after falling behind James Milner as Liverpool’s main left-back.

Crystal Palace have earlier expressed an interest in making Sakho’s loan move permanent this summer, however, have been put off by Liverpool’s £30m asking a fee for the France international.

The Merseysiders are also confident of getting the full £20m they spent on Markovic in 2014 despite the Serbian having not played a single game for the club in the past two campaigns.

Watford are believed to be interested in the attacker, who spent the second half of last campaign on loan at Hull City, however, would need to smash their transfer record to bring him to Vicarage Road.

Moreno is believed to have a £12m asking fee on his head. Meanwhile, other clubs Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and AC Milan having been linked with the Spanish star.
