Man United identified replacements for Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Manchester United have reportedly reached and contacted with Leicester City and West Ham United over potential moves for forwards Jamie Vardy and Javier Hernandez.
Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho seems keen to strengthen his attacking force and is looking at the Premier League for potential backup options.
The Telegraph reports that initial inquiries have already been made for Vardy and Hernandez, while Alexis Sanchez remains on their radar despite the Chilean choosing an end-of-season move to Manchester City.
The American forward, who was at United between 2010 and 2015, is believed to be available to sign after struggling to find the net on a permanent basis for West Ham United following his £16m summer move.
Leicester striker Vardy, meanwhile, is a more valuable option at £35m. However, the Foxes are less prepared to sell one of their key footballers midway through the season.
Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are United’s current recognised striking options, while the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford can also perform through the middle.
Meanwhile, Man United are belived to close to signing PSG ace Lucas Moura.
