Man United on the brink of missing out on £97m rated wing wizard
Bayer Leverkusen have reportedly decided to turn down all offers for Leon Bailey until the summer of 2019.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have been regularly linked with the attacker, who has swiftly become a major member at the Bundesliga team.
The Stories had claimed that Leverkusen would demand a fee of £97m if any approaches were made ahead of the next season, however it seems that the club’s stance has changed.
As reported by the Bild, Leverkusen wants to keep the Jamaican for at least another 18 months, preferably than cashing in on the 20-year-old.
The winger who still has four-and-a-half years left on his deal has scored eight goals and made five assists in 18 league games this campaign.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have recognized Joe Hart as a possible replacement for Real Madrid target Thibaut Courtois, according to stories.
The Belgian’s Blues contract ends at the conclusion of next campaign and new terms are yet to be agreed between footballer and club.
Los Blancos are understood to be interested in Courtois, with stories suggesting that the 25-year-old may be running his contract down to force a transfer to Spain.
According to The Sun, The Blues are planning for that scenario and want England keeper Hart to come in as Courtois’s replacement once his loan at West Ham United is over.
Hart stays on Manchester City’s books, however, has been exiled by Pep Guardiola and is now on loan at West Ham United having spent the 2016-17 season at the Italian club, Torino.
