Premier League club moved in to seal the deal for Liverpool defender
Bournemouth are reportedly examining to take Mamadou Sakho or Joe Gomez on loan from Liverpool.
As the Daily Mail reports, Eddie Howe is in search for a defender to succeed Nathan Ake, whose loan spell has been terminated on the south coast by Chelsea.
The 26-year-old Frenchman, and teenager, Gomez, are both believed to have developed as targets for the Bournemouth manager.
The International has not played a single minute of first-team football for Liverpool this campaign after being frozen out by Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Sakho, who cost the Anfield outfit £20m, is obviously earning £80,000-a-week in Liverpool, which the Cherries would rumoured be reluctant to pay in whole.
And Gomez meanwhile, returned from a severe knee injury to start in the FA Cup third round clash with Plymouth Argyle yesterday.
The defender joined Liverpool from Charlton in the summer of 2015 for a fee of £3.5m.
Eddie Howe’s dreams of signing either footballer are believed to be supported by his great relationship with Liverpool.
The Englishman has already signed Jordan Ibe and Brad Smith to the Vitality Stadium in last months.
