The 25-year-old Chelsea star interested in shock move to Real Madrid

Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly shown an interest in a future transfer to Real Madrid.

The Belgian has been a massive success with the West Londoners since finally joining at Stamford Bridge in 2014, with 118 games being made in all tournaments since the Belgian goalkeeper ended a loan spell with Atletico Madrid.

However, as reported by Marca, the 25-year-old enjoyed his time living on the Spanish side, and that has led to ambitions of a future transfer to the reigning Champions League winners.

The Belgian is allegedly happy with life in London and stays grateful for the West Londoners spending £5m on his signature when he was just 19, but it has been suggested that personal motives are behind his wish to return to Spain.

Real have repeatedly been linked with a move for Manchester United stopper David de Gea however as long as that potential deal remains up in the air, Courtois is apparently ready to bide his time before making a final choice over his next career move.

Courtois has just under two seasons left on his current contract with the West Londoners.
