Tottenham moved in to sign £30m Liverpool ace

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur have asked about Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.

The African star is out of favour at Liverpool and spent the second moiety of this past term on loan with Crystal Palace. Palace were suggested to be interested in landing Sakho on a permanent basis, however, were unhappy with the price that Liverpool are asking for his sale.

Tottenham are however believed not to be put off by the French internationals £30 million price tag. Spurs have reportedly made their interest to Liverpool known, although it is still the early stages and no formal offer has yet been made.

After falling out with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Sakho was not used in the first team squad during the first half of the campaign and preferably played for the clubs under-23 side. He will be keen to move on this summer in search of a club that can offer him regular playing time.

Meanwhile, Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp is reportedly interested in a transfer raid on his ex-club Borussia Dortmund for exciting young attacker Emre Mor.

The teenager failed to establish himself as a regular in his first campaign in Germany and is now believed to be available on loan ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Reds are supposedly interested in adding the Turkey international to their team as they prepare for the Champions League next campaign, with signings needed after a failed title challenge in 2016/17.

The Reds have also been linked with AS Roma attacker Mohamed Salah as Klopp eyes attacking options, and Mor would also represent another great addition in that area.

The Reds would also examine the option of making the loan move permanent if he impressed during his time at Anfield, as reported by The Sun.

Mor managed one goal and three assists for Thomas Tuchel’s team last campaign, despite playing only 18 first-team matches in total.
