£100,000-a-week Reds injured footballer could miss several matches

Merseyside club midfielder Jordan Henderson got an injury during the Premier League match against Chelsea, and he could miss the Champions League second quarter-final game with Porto this week. It is terrible news for the Reds as he is an unchanged figure for the club and it will be challenging to achieve success without him.

England international has a fantastic campaign and proves his worth one more time. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also injured, Adam Lallana is in terrible form and probably James Milner will back-up him in coming match. Henderson joined Liverpool from Sunderland in 2011 with a £17m deal.

He became a captain of the club and played many matches amazingly since joining. In this season, Jordan already made 36 appearances, scored one goal and made two assists in all tournament. It is an excellent result, and he can do much more during this campaign.

The 28-year-old midfielder has contracted with the English club until 2023, and his release clause is around £30m. His price could increase during this season and become much more. Liverpool have an impressive result in the Premier League as they are leading the table and have a big chance to win the tournament.

Merseyside club also won the Champions League first quarter-final match against Porto 2-0 and have the opportunity to reach the semi-final. Reds signed several players last summer like Fabinho from Monaco, Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City and Alisson Becker from Roma.

English club also linked with RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, Bayer Leverkusen attacker Julian Brandt, Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa and Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio.
