£40m-rated Chelsea injured striker could skip several games

Chelsea striker Gonzalo Higuain will skip the Europa League game with Dinamo Kyiv due to fever. It is bad news for the Blues, but it won’t be difficult to win this match and reach the quarter-final. Argentina international joined the London club this January from Juventus with a season-long loan deal.

He became an unchanged figure for the club as Alvaro Morata moved to Atletico Madrid, Michy Batshuayi joined Crystal Palace, and Tammy Abraham plays in Aston Villa. In this season, Higuain already played 31 matches, scored 11 goals and made three assists in all tournament.

It is an excellent result, and he can improve his consequences during this campaign. Gonzalo’s release clause is nearly £50m which is a proper price for such a great striker. He is a regular member of the national team and also helped them to reach the playoff in the 2018 World Cup, but after losing 4-3 against Les Bleus, they kicked out from the competition.

The 31-year-old centre-forward won many trophies during his career including three La Liga and two Serie A which is already a significant achievement for the footballer. Chelsea have a good result in the Premier League as they are in a sixth place in the table and have a big chance to get the Champions League ticket.

Blues signed several footballers last summer like Jorginho from Napoli, Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid and Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao. London club also added Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic this January and improved the squad much more. The Italian manager is planning to win many titles with the English club.
