Deal Done: Former Celtic striker 27-year-old Mo Bangura signed for Chinese side!

Former Celtic Striker Mohamed Bangura has arrived in China and signed a three year deal with second division side Dalian Yifang.

Bangura joined Celtic in 2011 year from AIK Solna for a fee of £2 million, but he failed to impress at Celtic Park and was sent back to AIK on loan.

In January 2014, after a month back at Celtic Neil Lennon said: “It’s reasonable to say that he doesn’t have a future here. It just hasn’t worked out for both parties. These things sometimes happen in football. We’ve had no enquiries for him yet but his best bet may be Scandinavia again.

“You’re never going to get every signing right. Every manager, even the greats, has made a mistake or two along the way. Mo needs to get out and play because it’s going to be restrictive here.” – He added.

So few days ago 26-year-old striker signed £700,000 deal with Chinese outfit.
