Arsenal could announce first summer signing after Chelsea game

Arsenal are reportedly planning to complete a deal for Norwegian starlet George Lewis soon after Saturday’s FA Cup final against arch-rivals Chelsea.

The 20-year-old, who spent a period on trial with the North London club back in March, is available on a free transfer having left Norwegian third-tier outfit Fram Larvik.

Talented Norwegian ace is also believed to have spent time on trial with Championship outfits Ipswich Town and Premier League outfits Bournemouth as he looked to secure a move to the Premier League, however, according to Goal, Mikel Arteta’s side are on the brink to get the deal done for the player.

The report suggests that the Rwanda-born starlet, who is capable of playing in a number of different forward options, is likely to link up with the teams Under-23 outfit should the move be completed.

The Gunners ended the Premier League campaign in the eighth position, however, will be looking to secure a spot in next campaign’s Europa League when they face the Blues in the FA Cup final.

The North London club are also allegedly interested in securing the services of Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish, however, his price tag could be a problem.
