Arsenal still desperately chasing the signature of Swedish sensation Isak

According to the reports from The Mirror, Arsenal are reportedly set to rival Bayern Munich and Juventus for the signature of highly-rated Swedish forward Alexander Isak, who has attracted the attention of several top European clubs.

The 19-year-old Isak has managed to score 11 goals in 26 matches for AIK and has been likened to Manchester United superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The reports from the Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claim that Isak is more likely to join Arsenal or Bayern Munich as Juventus’ priority is to bolster their midfield in January.

Juventus have only signed Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain in the summer and also have Paulo Dybala on their books, so signing another forward is not a priority.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are lining up a transfer move for Borussia Dortmund star winger Marco Reus as a replacement for contract rebel Alexis Sanchez.

The North London club are still hoping to tie Alexis Sanchez down to a new contract deal at the Emirates Stadium, though talks are in progress over a £200,000-per-week deal.

Other European top clubs, Juventus and Man City are among the sides who could lure the Chilean superstar away, and Arsene Wenger is already preparing for that eventuality by looking at Marco Reus.

The 27-year-old German forward has been linked with Arsenal in the past, as Arsene Wenger has long been a big admirrer of his.
