Bundesliga giants consider Ex-Arsenal coach as Niko Kovač replacement

Arsene Wenger has been made the new big favourite to take over as coach of Bayern Munich after RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick declined the chance to open talks with the Bavarian.

Bundesliga champions have been without a boss since the weekend after old manager Niko Kovac parted ways with the Bavarians following his side’s embarrassing 5-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on the weekend.

It looks like Leipzig boss Rangnick was the man Bayern wanted to replace Kovac, however, the German has rejected the opportunity to open negotiations with Bayern regarding the possibility of him becoming their new coach.

Following this, former Gunners boss Wenger, who left Arsenal back in the summer of 2018, is now favourite to take over at the Allianz Arena. This news comes after the French manager admitted on Tuesday that he’d be interested in taking up the vacant coach’s position at Bayern.

Amid being out of a job in football for around 18 months now, we feel Arsene would still be a great option for the German club to go with as their new coach.

The French tactician proved during his time with the London club that he’s one of the best managers ever to grace the game of football, something that shows Bayern would be lucky to be able to appoint him as their new boss.

Now all that remains to be seen is whether the Bundesliga club can get a deal for the former Arsenal coach over the line before their season turns from bad to worse.
