Chelsea high-class forward prefers to remain in London
Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard finally made a decision and he is staying in London one more year. Belgian winger was heavily linked with Real Madrid during the summer and Los Blancos also made several offers but the Blues rejected all of them. Eden was very close to joining La Liga giants but the London club did everything to keep the forward and they made it.
Hazard had an amazing season as he played very well in the Premier League and even better in the Mundial. Belgium finished the World Cup on a third place and he was a key player for the team during the tournament. The 27-year-old joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012 with a £32m deal. In this season he made 58 appearances, scored 20 goals and made 9 assists in all competition. Belgian forward is contracted with the Blues until 2020 and his release clause is nearly £100m.
The London club have a new manager Maurizio Sarri who has big plans for this season. Italian coach already signed Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao, Jorginho from Napoli and Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid in this summer. Chelsea preparing to fight for the titles and return in Premier League top 4 in this campaign.
