Chelsea identified Premier League keeper as a replacement for Belgian ace
Chelsea have recognized Joe Hart as a possible replacement for Real Madrid target Thibaut Courtois, according to stories.
The Belgian’s Blues contract ends at the conclusion of next campaign and new terms are yet to be agreed between footballer and club.
Los Blancos are understood to be interested in Courtois, with stories suggesting that the 25-year-old may be running his contract down to force a transfer to Spain.
According to The Sun, The Blues are planning for that scenario and want England keeper Hart to come in as Courtois’s replacement once his loan at West Ham United is over.
Hart stays on Manchester City’s books, however, has been exiled by Pep Guardiola and is now on loan at West Ham United having spent the 2016-17 season at the Italian club, Torino.
Meanwhile, Antonio Conte‘s future is in serious doubt after Chelsea’s loss on Monday night, however, Hazard’s goal in the 82nd minute briefly gave the Premier League giants hope at Vicarage Road.
The winger, who had an otherwise underwhelming game, found the net to bring the clubs level in the 82nd minute after Troy Deeney’s penalty before the second half.
