Chelsea in pole position to sign €100m-rated Bundesliga forward
The London club are reportedly showing the strongest interest in sealing the transfer of Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho. The 19-year-old winger is having another outstanding campaign, showing why he’s regarded by many to be one of the best young players on the planet right now.
Jadon strongly linked with the London club, but also state that Chelsea have three alternatives in mind in case they cannot land the attacker. Those three footballers are Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha, Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele, and Real Madrid attacker Isco, according to Don Balon.
Sancho undoubtedly looks the best of all those names mentioned, but Blues fans would surely be happy to see any of them arrive at London club. Blues sold Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in the summer and could not replace him at the time due to their transfer ban. English star already scored 13 goals and provided 14 assists across all tournaments.
Since then, youngsters like Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic have performed well, but there are no doubt Blues could do with spending big on at least one more player in that position. He seems an ideal long-term Hazard replacement, as he looks to have the talent to enjoy an even better career than the Belgian perhaps.
Chelsea have excellent consequences in the Premier League this campaign as they are in a fourth place in the table. London club signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid and Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund.
