Chelsea in pole position to sign €35m-rated talented English defender
Leicester City are reportedly already planning for the departure of defender Ben Chilwell by eyeing up replacements for the £50m-rated Chelsea transfer target. Blues and Man City are among Ben’s suitors as Foxes anticipate bids for Chilwell.
England international has shone for the Foxes in recent times, showing himself to be one of the finest youngsters in Europe, and it’s little surprise to see Leicester City perhaps don’t fancy their opportunities of holding on to him for long.
London club will no doubt see the 22-year-old left-back as an upgrade on the likes of Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri, while Citizens could perhaps also do with replacing the likes of Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Frank Lampard is a big personal fan of English defender and wants to make him a priority target once Blues transfer ban ends. Chelsea will no doubt see the news that Foxes are already planning to replace the left-back as a major boost to their hopes of bringing him to London club.
Ben is a product of Leicester City youth academy and spent his current career with them. He has a vast potential and can become a top-class left-back if he continuous improvement. Chilwell also named in the Three Lions squad several times which is already a big success for the defender.
