Chelsea leading the race to sign 27-year-old Spain international
Real Madrid believe that an offer of €120m plus the services of Isco will be enough to convince the London club into selling them N’Golo Kante. France international has been one of the Premier League’s best and most effective stars since his arrival at Leicester in the summer of 2015.
Kante is helping both the Foxes and Chelsea win the Premier League since then. N’Golo’s fantastic skills to break up opposition play and desire to win the ball back when lost has seen him become one of the most highly-rated players in the world, one that has now seemingly caught the eye of La Liga giants.
The Spanish club are eyeing up Blues star as an alternative signing to Man United playmaker Paul Pogba, with Los Blancos confident an offer of €120m plus Isco will be enough to land his signature. Given their lack of creative options in centre, bringing in Spaniard plus €120m in return for French star doesn’t seem like that bad of a deal.
The 27-year-old midfielder has shown during his time in Real Madrid that, on his day, he’s one of the best creative playmakers around, something London club are lacking in their first-team squad at the moment. He is a key figure for the national team line-up, which is a big success for the footballer.
If Los Blancos were to submit an offer of this ilk for the 28-year-old midfielder soon, it’d be interesting to see if Chelsea would be willing to accept it and cash in on the French star who helped the Les Bleus to win the 2018 World Cup.
