Chelsea manager planning to give chance to 21-year-old centre-forward
Chelsea new manager isn’t going to sell Tammy Abraham this transfer window and considering English starlet as the main striker. He had an amazing campaign in the Championship and attracted European clubs attention. Newcastle United, RB Leipzig, Wolverhampton, Crystal Palace and Everton are interested in signing him.
Tammy is a product of the London club youth academy and spent last season in Aston Villa with a loan deal. He has a vast potential and can become a top-class centre-forward if he continuous improvement. In this season, Abraham played 42 games, scored 26 goals and provided three assists in all competitions.
It is a fantastic consequence, and he can improve his results during the next campaign. The 21-year-old striker has contracted with the Blues until 2022, and his release clause is around €25m. He regularly plays in England U21 line-up and also helped them to win the UEFA Youth League two times which is already a big success for the footballer.
London club had an impressive consequence in the Premier League as they finished the competition in a third position and secured the Champions League group stage place. Chelsea also won the Europa League final against Arsenal 4-1, and it was the last trophy for Eden Hazard who joined Real Madrid.
English club signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund this January and Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid this summer with a permanent deal. Blues are unable to buy players for the next two transfer windows, and Frank Lampard has to use existing resource during the upcoming campaign.
