Chelsea manager ready to listen to offers for €80m-rated star
The London giants have made N’Golo Kante and eight other footballers available for transfer this summer, according to reports. Chelsea manager has already bolstered his squad with the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner ahead of the new campaign.
But Frank Lampard is keen to land Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz, as well as a new shot-stopper and a new left-back. Blues business in the transfer window this summer will also depend on their departures and the London giants are already open to offers for nine footballers.
The report claims that France international, who has started only 23 matches this campaign due to an injury-hit season, has been made available despite being a key part of Blues midfield when fit. His fellow midfielder Ross Barkley is also available, while the Blues are looking to permanently offload Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has spent the campaign on loan at Monaco.
The report also claims that Blues are looking to overhaul their defensive options and the club are willing to listen to offers for Kurt Zouma, Andreas Christensen, Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso.
Blues are also looking to find buyers for Michy Batshuayi, who has one year left on his deal and played only 13 games this campaign, and Kepa Arrizabalaga, who was dropped by Frank Lampard for the FA Cup final defeat to London club on the weekend.
However, Blues could struggle to find a buyer for Kepa Arrizabalaga following his poor displays this campaign. Meanwhile, Frank Lampard admits he is concerned by the number of individual errors his defenders have made this campaign.
