€20m-rated Gunners defender finished international career

Arsenal footballer Laurent Koscielny finished his international career. France international had a serious injury and missed the World Cup where Les Bleus win the gold medals. This was a big frustration for the defender and he decided to retire from the national team. He also criticised Didier Deschamps as French manager forget him.

Laurent joined the Gunners from Lorient in 2010 with a €13m deal. He was one of the best centre-backs in Premier League and unchanged figure for the club but now situation changed and Sokratis replaced him excellently. Last season Koscielny played 30 games and scored 2 goals in all competition. This is an impressive result and it proves that he still can play in high-class. Several big clubs keen to add him during the winter transfer window. The 33-year-old is contracted with the London club until 2020 and his release clause is around €20m. His price could increase and become much more during the battle.

French defender spent 8 years in Arsenal and won several titles including FA cup and English Super Cup. Now Unai Emery has different plans and visions and there is no place for him. Spanish manager added Sokratis from Dortmund and also preparing to sign new high-class centre-back during the transfer window.
