€30m-rated Chelsea transfer target signed five-year contract with club
Callum Wilson signed a five-year contract with Bournemouth amid several offers from Premier League clubs. West Ham United, Tottenham, Chelsea and Everton were interested in signing him, but he preferred to remain at the Dean Court stadium.
England international had a fantastic season and attracted PL rivals attention. Blues have severe problems in the front-line as Gonzalo Higuain returned to Juventus, Olivier Giroud already 32-year-old, and they need replacement. London club are unable to sign new footballers until next summer due to a transfer ban.
So Frank Lampard has to use Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi during this campaign. Callum joined the Cherries from Coventry in 2014 with a €4m deal. He is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and a real leader of the club.
Last season, Wilson played 33 games, scored 15 goals and provided ten assists in all competitions. It is an amazing consequence, and he can improve his results during the next campaign. The 27-year-old centre-forward has contracted with the English club until 2023, and his release clause is around €30m.
He also named in the Three Lions squad several times which is already a big success for the footballer. If the English striker scores many goals during the next season, probably Gareth Southgate will give him a chance to help the national team to win the Euro 2020.
Bournemouth had a good result in the Premier League as they finished the tournament in a 14th position. English club already signed Lloyd Kelly from Bristol City and Jack Stacey from Luton Town this summer transfer window.
