€40m-rated footballer set to sign new contract with Liverpool
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain agreed to sign a new long-term contract with Liverpool. It is fantastic news for the Reds as he is one of the best attackers in the Premier League and will help the Merseyside club to win many titles. England international missed last season due to an injury, but now he returned on the field and ready for the next campaign.
Alex joined Liverpool from Arsenal in 2017 with a €38m deal. He is a crucial figure for the club and scored many great goals since joining. Last season, Oxlade-Chamberlain made 46 appearances, scored five goals and provided eight assists in all tournament.
It is an impressive result, and he can do much more during the next campaign. English star has contracted with the Reds until 2022, and his release clause is around €40m. He is a regular member of the Three Lions squad and also played in the 2014 World Cup which is already a big success for the footballer.
The 25-year-old attacker won several titles during his career like Champions League with Liverpool, 3 English FA Cup and 3 English Super Cup with Arsenal. Merseyside club had fantastic result in the Premier League as they finished the competition in a second position.
