Everton enter the battle to sign No.11 Liverpool long-term target
Toffees should look to move for Ajax forward Quincy Promes. The Netherlands international is in fine form, and he recently scored an excellent brace with Chelsea in the Champions League. Quincy has already shown that he can deliver at the top level and the Merseyside club should provide him with the platform to shine further.
Toffees could use someone like him in their front-line. Promes would be a superb signing to Marco Silva’s front-line. Everton need to add goals from the wide areas, and the 27-year-old winger would be ideal. Dutch forward can form a lethal attacking trio alongside Richarlison and Kean.
It will be interesting to see if the Toffees make their move for Quincy anytime soon. They certainly have the means to pull it off. Promes might be tempted to play in the Premier League as well if a good offer comes in. Portuguese boss wants to bolster the front-line.
However, Eredivisie giants will not want to sell a star footballer midway through the season and Toffees will have to pay over the odds to convince the Dutch club. A signing like Quincy would transform Merseyside club’s attack and help get their campaign back on track.
Everton started this campaign terribly as they are in a 15th place in the Premier League table. Toffees signed several players during the summer transfer window like Alex Iwobi from Arsenal, Moise Kean from Juventus, Djibril Sidibe from Monaco, Andre Gomes from Barcelona, Fabian Delph from Man City and Jean-Philippe Gbamin from Mainz.
