Everton leading Liverpool in race for Dutch sensation
The Merseyside Blues Everton are hoping to steal Arsenal and Liverpool transfer target Ajax star Riechedly Bazoer.
According to the talkSPORT you earlier this month, Ajax head coach Peter Bosz has announced that the teenager is set to be sold when the mid-season transfer window opens next month.
It appeared as though The Gunners were leading chase to sign the youngster despite interest from The Reds and German giants Wolfsburg.
However now, as reported by the Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, The Toffees are hoping to go ahead of the Gunners with a swoop of their own.
Everton are on a poor run of form of just one victory in their past 11 matches in all tournaments and they are in risk of being sucked into a relegation battle.
So their head coach Ronald Koeman is expected to land some new players in January and Bazoer is reportedly top on his short list.
And legendary ex Holland footballer Koeman may be able to convince his young countryman to choose The Merseyside Blues over the rest of his chasing package with the guarantee of regular first-team football.
