Five Man United footballers could miss the PL match due to an injury
Red Devils are facing an injury crisis ahead of their match against Leicester City this weekend. Man United are sweating on the fitness of five footballers, including Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Paul Pogba. There are also concerns about the competence of Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.
Right-back Wan-Bissaka has been a key performer for Norwegian manager so far this campaign but was forced to withdraw from the Three Lions squad. The 21-year-old picked up a back injury, with his club partner Jesse Lingard also sent home from the national team camp.
Illness forced Jesse to sit out the international fixtures with Bulgaria and Kosovo, while left-back Shaw is struggling with a hamstring injury. Paul withdrew from the Les Bleus squad with an ankle injury. Front-line, Martial missed Red Devils last match with Southampton after picking up a knock in the defeat to Crystal Palace last month.
Man United welcome Leicester City to Theatre of Dreams in their first match back after the international break on the hunt for their first win since early August. Norwegian coach is under pressure to produce results after a hugely promising 4-0 opening day victory against Chelsea.
The enthusiasm for the new campaign quickly subsided as Red Devils followed that result up with a draw with Wolves before slumping to their first home defeat of the campaign with Crystal Palace. Foxes are one of just three Premier League clubs still unbeaten, while Man United are languishing in eighth place after four matches.
