Liverpool and Serie A champions chasing the signatgure of highly-demanded Italian forward

Liverpool’s race for highly-rated Italian striker Domenico Berardi could come under fire from Juventus and Inter Milan, according to the stories in Italy.

The Merseysiders were believed to be in pole position to sign the attacker from Serie A club Sassuolo in the summer, however now Juventus are also believed to be keen.

The Italian giants are understood to be putting together a list of promising teenagers which involved the forward Berardi.

German manager Jurgen Klopp has shown an interest in signing the attacker, who is also attracting the interest of Inter Milan.

Berardi has had an injury-plagued season so far, missing four months with knee ligament damage.

But he returned to action two weeks ago and seems to have grown quickly and is again improving his reputation in the Serie A side.


Liverpool have failed to make any signings this January as Jurgen Klopp insists that he is happy with current squad, however The german head coach could be forced to add new players in summer.
