Liverpool in advanced talks with €35m-rated Bundesliga forward

Werder Bremen have reportedly set an asking price of €38m for Milot Rashica. The 23-year-old forward has had a pretty decent campaign with Bundesliga club this campaign, netting ten goals and providing five assists in 24 games across all tournaments so far.

Milot has been linked to Reds as the Liverpool were interested in signing him. The German club will demand €38m for Rashica who has also attracted interest from Aston Villa. Kosovo international has played 64 matches across all tournaments for Werder Bremen since joining them from Vitesse, scoring 23 goals and providing 11 assists.

The Kosovar winger could be an excellent backup option to Sadio Mane at Anfield since he predominantly plays as a left-winger. Given his current form, there’s a perfect opportunity other clubs could make a move for Milot. Jurgen Klopp wants to strengthen the front-line during the summer transfer window.

Werder Bremen would prefer keeping Milot, but given that they have an excellent opportunity of being relegated this campaign, it could be hard for them to do so.

Primarily used on the left-wing but also able to operate upfront or in playmaker, Rashica has scored ten goals and provided five assists in 24 games this campaign. But with his side in the relegation zone in the Bundesliga, they could be forced to cash in should they suffer the drop.

Merseyside giants are heavily tipped to do their shopping in the Bundesliga this summer with another report claiming they were ahead of Gunners in the battle to sign an Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka nominated for Rookie of the Year last campaign.
