Liverpool interested in signing 21-year-old promising attacker
Kaj Sierhuis has said that he wants to play for the Merseyside club. U21 Netherlands international had a decent stint with Groningen this campaign, netting ten goals and providing assists in 20 games across all tournaments. He joined Reims during the winter transfer window and featured in one game with Nice during which he sustained an injury.
Kaj claimed that he dreams of playing in the Premier League and his favourite club is Liverpool. Sierhuis said: “The PL has been a dream all my life. I love the English football culture, the full stadiums and the experience of a day going to football is the best thing there is.
Reds has been my favourite club since childhood. It will be a dream ever to earn that.” Reds supporters would be pleased to hear what the 21-year-old striker has to say about the club and given that he’s just 21 and at the early stages of his career, Kaj still has a few years to produce consistent displays and attract interest from the Reds.
Liverpool have had a few notable Dutch players in the likes of Dirk Kuyt, Georginio Wijnaldum and VVD and who knows, maybe the Dutch youngster could also become one if he keeps playing well. Kaj is not the first young centre-forward this month to express a desire to play for the Merseyside club.
Peterborough United centre-forward Ivan Toney said on Instagram earlier this month that if he could earn a transfer to any club, then it would be Liverpool. The 24-year-old striker has scored 24 goals and provided five assists in 32 League One matches for Peterborough so far this campaign
