Liverpool leading the race to sign €60m-rated Spain international

Reds are leading the race to sign Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio and planning to make a bid during the summer transfer window. Merseyside club have problems in the attak as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane linked with several clubs, and they need replacement.

Spain international is the perfect option in this situation as he had a great campaign and proved his worth one more time. Klopp set to spend considerable money on the star in July when the transfer window opens again. Chelsea, Tottenham, Juventus, Man United and Bayern Munich are also interested in signing him, and there will be a contest for the footballer.

Marco joined the Spanish club from Mallorca in 2015 with a £5m deal. He is one of the best wingers in Europe and a key figure for the club. In this season, Asensio played 44 games, scored six goals and made seven assists in all tournament. It is an impressive result, and he can improve his consequences during the next campaign.

The 23-year-old attacker has contracted with the Los Blancos until 2023, and his release clause is nearly £60m. He is a frequent member of the national team line-up and also helped them to reach the playoff in the 2018 Mundial, but after losing in a penalty shoot-out against Russia, they knocked out from the competition.

Probably Spanish star will accept the correct offer from the German manager. Liverpool will do everything to add him this July, but it won’t be easy as Blues, Spurs, Bianconeri, Red Devils and Bavarians also preparing to make an offer during the transfer window.
