Liverpool started talks with €20m-rated Belgian star
Liverpool keen to sign Man United midfielder Marouane Fellaini in this transfer window. Reds have problems in midfield as Can left the club, Lallana is out of form, Milner already 32-year-old and Oxlade-Chamberlain won’t be able to play until 2019. Klopp started to search for a new high-class footballer to replace them. Marouane is the perfect option as he sitting on the bench in Manchester and wants to get regular game time.
Belgium international joined the Red Devils in 2013 from Everton with a £29m deal. In this season he played 30 games and scored 8 goals in all competition. This isn’t a good result and he should leave the club. Since joining 30-year-old won with the club FA Cup, League Cup, Europa League and Community Shield. Fellaini contracted with Man United until 2020 and his release clause is nearly €20m.
Liverpool already signed Stoke attacker Xherdan Shaqiri, Roma shot-stopper Alisson Becker, RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita and Monaco star Fabinho in this transfer window. Red also interested to add Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida and Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic. Negotiations with Nabil Fekir failed after Lyon demanded too much money for their star.
