Los Blancos are desperate to sign €150m-rated Liverpool forward
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has reportedly asked for a massive deal to seal a transfer to Real Madrid. The 27-year-old superstar and the La Liga club held some talks over a potential deal, only for the player’s excessive demands to put his suitors off.
Mohamed has been one of the finest attacking footballers in the world in recent times and would no doubt be a great fit with Spanish giants or indeed any other of Europe’s super clubs. Still, it seems Reds fans can rest easy for the time being as it looks like he’s too expensive for the Los Blancos at this moment in time.
Former Roma forward wanted to pay the same amount as Cristiano Ronaldo something to the tune of €30m a season. Salah is undoubtedly key to Merseyside club’s future, so they’ll hope these Real Madrid rumours die down, though they have lost star names to La Liga’s big two in the past.
Liverpool are in a better position now, however, having just won the Champions League and run Manchester City extremely close in the Premier League title battle as they continue to make huge strides under Jurgen Klopp. Sadio Mane also linked with the La Liga giants.
Los Blancos had terrible consequences last season as they finished La Liga in a third position and knocked out from the Champions League and Copa del Rey. Spanish club already signed Eden Hazard from Chelsea, Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt, Ferland Mendy from Lyon, Eder Militao from Porto and Rodrygo Goes from Santos.
