Man United agreed personal terms with No.7 England international
Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho is a step closer to getting his move to Old Trafford after agreeing on personal terms over a transfer to Man United. England international has made it clear to BVB that he would like to return to PL this summer and Red Devils have led the way for the attacker’s signature for the last 18 months.
Bundesliga giants have stood firm over their £108m valuation of Jadon and they seem ready to get their asking price after Red Devils intimated their willingness to pay the sum in three instalments. Once the 20-year-old forward’s move is complete, Red Devils will focus their attention on signing a defender and a midfielder.
Negotiations with the English winger were considered a formality given the player’s desire to move to Man United but he’s set to become one of the highest earners in the PL on a salary of £220,000-a-week.
German club want the agreement finalised in the next 10 days and Red Devils hope to have him at the club by the end of the week. Alexis Sanchez is set to join Inter Milan on a free transfer as Man United forged a fee in under to offload him. Alexis £500,000-a-week wages have proved prohibitive, both to Red Devils and to interested sides.
However, with Alexis out the door, funds have been freed up and Jadon is ready to profit by landing a massive salary increase. Jadon is also ready to take the no.7 shirt vacated by Alexis and Red Devils will be hoping he can reverse the fortunes of previous owners such as Angel Di Maria, Memphis Depay and Michael Owen.
