Man United closely monitoring €120m-rated English winger
Red Devils have been told by Borussia Dortmund that Jadon Sancho will cost them £108m this transfer window. The Norwegian manager is hoping to land England international, who impressed in Germany with 34 goal involvements from as many games.
And it appears Man United will have until August to get a deal for Jadon over the line. The Red Devils have seen their front three of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood all flourish this campaign.
The trio have scored 55 goals combined to establish themselves as one of the best tridents on the planet even outscoring Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino over at champions Liverpool. Despite that, however, Red Devils want more.
It’s an open secret that they’d love to prise the 20-year-old winger away from Borussia Dortmund, having first attempted to sign the teenager back in 2017 when Jose Mourinho was in charge. And Man United have been set a date of until August to get a deal for their prized performer over the line.
The BVB want a fee of £108m to let him go. And if Red Devils fail to meet their asking price by August then they’ll keep the English winger and make him a part of their plans for the 2020/2021 season.
It’s previously been suggested that Man United would only pay as much as £50m to secure the signature of Sancho this summer. But Man United do have the funds to afford Jadon and whether they decide to cough up Dortmund’s full asking price is something only time will tell.
