Man United have to spend £60m to sign 27-year-old Brazilian
United have been linked with a move for Alex Sandro of Juventus. The Old Lady chief Giuseppe Marrotta says Alex will stay in Italy, so Red Devils will need to spend more than £60m to save him.
Mourinho is hunting for a new left-back. Luke Shaw has been publicly berated by the former Blues boss on numerous opportunities whilst Daley Blind is not as good as she was. It has led to the Portuguese boss playing Ashley Young in the position, where he has brought the place in England squad for the World Cup.
Sandro has had another excellent year in Serie A, where he was a key player of the Juve’s squad that won a league and cup double. The Brazil international, who missed out on a place in Tite’s squad for the World Cup in Russia, is wanted as a replacement for Luke Shaw.
Man Utd are finished signing Fred and Diago Dalot, meaning Sandro is expected to be the subject of their next pursuit. The 27-year-old has a contract until 2020. Meanwhile, alongside Sandro, there is Danny Rose as a plan B.
