Man United in advanced talks with €45m-rated PL centre-back

Man United are keeping tabs with Leicester City defender Harry Maguire and preparing to make a bid in July when the transfer window opens again. Red Devils have problems in defence Phil Jones is in terrible form, Eric Bailly planning to change the working place and their back-up is necessary.

England international is the best choice in this situation as he has an excellent season and proves his worth one more time. Man United tried to sign him last summer, but the deal failed. Norwegian manager is preparing to make another offer this summer.

Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested in signing him, and there will be a contest for the player. His price could increase and become much more. In this campaign, Maguire already played 27 matches and scored three goals in all competition. It is an excellent result, and he can improve his consequences with high-class partners.

Harry is a regular member of the Three Lions squad and also helped them to finish the 2018 World Cup in a fourth place which is already a big success for the player. He joined the Foxes from Hull City in 2017 with a €14m deal. English defender became an unchanged figure for the club and played many matches amazingly since joining.

The 26-year-old centre-back has contracted with the English club until 2023, and his release clause is nearly €45m. Man United signed several footballers last summer like Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk, Diogo Dalot from Porto and Lee Grant from Stoke City. Red Devils also linked with Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.
