Man United keen on signing €30m-rated Norwegian goal machine

Red Devils have been heavily linked with Norwegian centre-forward Erling Haaland. Regularly, reports have suggested that the Theatre of Dreams club want to hire the services of the in-form goalscorer. A week back, Man United are ready to spend big on the 19-year-old, who could cost around £85m.

They reported that the Old Trafford club are prepared to make a move to sign the teenage sensation in winter and a bid worth more than £60m could be enough to secure his signature.

Norwegian manager is looking to improve his attack in the winter transfer window and Man United, who have money for the New Year, are expected to make an offer to lure the RB Salzburg centre-forward. The British source have further claimed that Red Devils are confident that Haaland’s preference is to move to Theatre of Dreams.

The youngster has scored 27 goals and provided seven assists in just 19 matches in all tournaments so far for the Austrian club this term. He has already netted five hat-tricks in the current season. In this year’s Champions League, currently, he is the second-highest goalscorer with eight goals, two goals behind Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

Not to forget, Erling has only started three matches in Europe’s elite tournament and the last fixture vs Genk away from home, he only featured for 28 minutes and still managed to score a goal and provide an assist.

Solskjaer’s men have only managed to score 19 goals in 13 PL matches this campaign, and they need to lure an out and out centre forward soon. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds in
