Man United keep a close eye on 25-year-old France international

Bianconeri are reportedly willing to offer Adrien Rabiot in a player exchange offer to land Paul Pogba, but Red Devils haven’t been left convinced by such an offer.

Pogba has endured a frustrating campaign this year as he has been limited to only eight games for Man United due to injury. However, with the Premier League season ready to restart next month, Pogba will hope to play an essential role in its conclusion.

The French midfielder has struggled to hit the heights that he enjoyed for the Old Lady though both individually and collectively, having played 178 games in his four years with Juve while winning four Scudettos and four domestic titles and having emerged as one of the top midfielders in Europe.

Bianconeri are keen on a reunion with the 27-year-old midfielder and are willing to offer Adrien in a player swap deal with Rabiot valued at €30m by the Old Lady.

That would suggest that they would then add a cash payment too on top of the footballer exchange, with that package perhaps giving the Norwegian manager an immediate replacement for the World Cup winner in his midfield as well as funds to target more reinforcements ahead of next campaign.

However, it’s added in the report above that Adrien’s salary is likely to be a vital issue as he earns €7m-a-year, while there is a suggestion that they don’t agree on his valuation either. In turn, it’s noted that there is still a gap between the two teams on an agreement and that Adrien is unlikely to bring them closer to reaching an agreement.
