Man United keeping close tabs on €25m-rated prolific forward
Jose Mourinho is keen on to sign West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic. The Portuguese boss even watched the Austrian in action for his country last week in a friendly match against Russia.
Mourinho has asked Red Devils chiefs to sign a striker and Arnautovic is the first on his wishlist. The former Inter Milan and Stoke star could be lining up for Mourinho next season as he continues to play in high pressure.
Arnautovic joined West Ham from Stoke last summer in a deal worth £24m and his price is nearly £50m now. West Ham are keen to keep hold of the Austria international after he scored 11 goals and made six assists last season. The owners want European football and will need to fight to keep hold of Arnautovic.
The Austria international attacker played an important role as he helped David Moyes’ West Ham side to save from relegation from the Premier League last season. After good season Arnautovic became a man who will help Mourinho to improve United’s forward line.
