Man United keeping tabs with €60m-rated technically gifted playmaker
Red Devils have reportedly joined the race to sign Napoli playmaker Fabian Ruiz. Spain international has been a regular for Gli Azzurri this campaign, scoring a goal against Lecce and providing two assists in 22 matches across all tournaments. Ole Gunnar Solskjær wants to strengthen the midfield during the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are both interested in signing Fabian. Man United have also joined the race to sign Ruiz who is currently valued at £80m. The report also suggests that the 23-year-old playmaker could leave Naples in June. He also named in the national team squad and helped them to get the Euro 2020 ticket.
The Spanish playmaker has done well for Napoli this campaign so far, and he could be a decent addition to Red Devils squad, especially if Paul Pogba leaves the club. If that happens, Fabian would be a suitable replacement and could also find game time under the Norwegian manager.
However, Napoli would prefer having Ruiz for a few years and might try to fend off interest from any suitors by setting a high asking price for him. Man United have excellent consequences in the Premier League this campaign as they are in a sixth place in the table.
Red Devils signed several footballers during the summer transfer window like Harry Maguire from Leicester City, Daniel James from Swansea and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace. English club strongly linked with Sporting playmaker Bruno Fernandes, Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves and Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
