Man United planning shock move for 20-year-old talented right-back

Red Devils are reportedly interested in a summer transfer window swoop for Norwich City defender Max Aarons, which possibly points to doubts over Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Amid just being into his first campaign at Man United, it is perhaps telling that Red Devils are looking at bolstering in his position as Aaron has not been excellent so far.

Wan-Bissaka shone at Crystal Palace before joining Red Devils last summer, and he started brightly for Man United before fading somewhat. It could be that U21 England international would be an upgrade in that area of the pitch, with the Daily Mail linking him as one of two Norwich footballers on Red Devils radar.

Max has been one of several fantastic performers for the Canaries this campaign, who looks rather unfortunate to be facing relegation despite putting together an excellent young squad. The 20-year-old defender has vast potential and can become a top-class right-back if he continuous improvement.

If they go down, however, that will inevitably mean talents like Max and Todd Cantwell are snapped up, and Red Devils fans would probably be happy to see both joins ahead of next campaign. Aaron Wan-Bissaka is one player who may not be too pleased about it, but perhaps the added competition could also force him to raise his game a bit.

Man United heavily linked with Lyon centre-forward Moussa Dembele, PSG striker Edinson Cavani, Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser, Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, Aston Villa attacker Jack Grealish, Leicester City playmaker James Maddison, Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot and Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
