Man United planning to make move for the 27-year-old Englishman

Manchester United are reportedly lining up a deal to take Everton keeper Jordan Pickford to Old Trafford if David de Gea leave for Real Madrid.

The Spaniard De Gea has been a long-term target for Madrid, who could transfer for the 27-year-old once more in the summer transfer window.

The Sun suggests that, if De Gea does make the transfer, Man United will target Toffees keeper Pickford as a replacement – however, Jose Mourinho could be forced to spend up to £50m to secure the Englishman’s services.

The outlet adds that Everton, who landed Pickford for £30m from Sunderland last summer, want to make a profit on their keeper and will have to be persuaded to let him leave.

Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who is allegedly unsettled at the Bernabeu, could be used as a part of potential transfer between United and Los Blancos.

Meanwhile, Radja Nainggolan has announced he would like to remain at Roma for the rest of his career. The 29-year-old has been consistently linked with a transfer to the Premier League with Manchester United and Chelsea rumoured to be long-term admirers. Antonio Conte is reportedly a massive fan of the player, and the Chelsea manager has failed in several efforts to attract Nainggolan to Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian star was the subject of more transfer speculation in January; however, when Belgian international was asked about his future at Roma, he insisted he may never leave. He told Sky Sports Italia: “Roma? I am very happy here, and I don’t see any reasons why I would want to leave. I am living well, and I have everything that I need. I might sign here for life since I have rejected many teams in the past. If the team decides to sell me in the future, then I can’t do much but at the moment, I am very happy to be here in Rome.”

The midfielder was reportedly offered the possibility of a big-money move to China last month. However, those suggest were disputed by Beijing Guoan who publicly insisted they never held an interest in the Roma star. Roma relies heavily on their combative midfielder, and Nainggolan has missed just five games in all competitions this season. It remains to be seen if English clubs will move again for Nainggolan, but it seems it will have to be a mammoth offer to tempt him away from Roma.
