Man United set to battle with arch rivals for the signature of Bundesliga star

Liverpool and Manchester United will reportedly have to stump up at around £88m if they want to lure Christian Pulisic away from Borussia Dortmund.

The Gunners are doing everything to keep up with top sides
The USA international is his country’s brightest talents in a generation and has lit up the Bundesliga over the past two campaigns.

The attacker’s form at Signal Iduna Park has seen him linked with possible moves to a whole host of the world’s biggest sides.

The Reds are believed to have a long-standing interest in Pulisic, driven by his old Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp.

Man United, meanwhile, are believed to have the 19-year-old on their radar too as they look to reinforce and consider growing their brand in the USA.

However, the latest stories from Germany suggest securing a deal for Pulisic will come at a massive cost.

Sport1 suggest Dortmund will demand offers start at £88m (€100m) if the attacker wants to leave.

Dortmund’s stance shows their confidence to keep hold of Pulisic going forward.

And managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke and sporting director Michael Zorc are apparently keen for him to extend his deal, which ends in 2020.

The Reds and Man United are not the only sides hoping to count Pulisic between their ranks in the future.

Dortmund’s Bundesliga opponents Bayern Munich are believed to have the Hershey-born ace on their radar too.

Pulisic claimed his fondness of the Premier League this week, suggesting: “Of course, the Premier League is an unbelievable league.

“You never know in football what can happen, so right now, I’m focused with Dortmund, and yeah, that’s that.”
