Napoli in advanced talks with Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez and preparing to make an offer during the summer transfer window. Little Donkeys have problems in the midfield as Fabian Ruiz, and Allan linked with several clubs, and they need replacement.

Colombia international is the best option in this situation as he had an excellent season and proved his greatness one more time. Carlo Ancelotti ready to spend considerable money on the player in July when the transfer window opens again.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man United, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also keen to sign him, and there will be a contest for the footballer. Rodriguez joined the Los Blancos from Monaco in 2014 with a €75m deal. He is one of the best attackers in Europe and a key figure for the club.

In this campaign, James made 28 appearances, scored seven goals and provided six assists in all tournament. It is a great result, and he can improve his consequences during the next season. The 27-year-old playmaker has contracted with the Spanish club until 2021, and his release clause is around €50m.

He regularly plays in the national team squad and also helped them to reach the quarter-final in the 2019 Copa America, but after losing in a penalty shoot-out against Chile, they knocked out from the competition. Probably Colombian superstar will accept the correct offer from the Italian manager.

Napoli will do everything to sign him this July, but it won’t be easy as Blues, Reds, Gunners, Red Devils, Los Rojiblancos and Bianconeri also planning to make a bid during the transfer window.
