Official: 19-year-old Blues long-term target joined German club
Bayern Munich added Hamburger SV centre-forward Jann-Fiete Arp with a €3m deal and he will join the Bavarians in July 2020. This is not good news for the London club as they were interested to sign him but the deal failed. Germany international has an impressive season and paid big clubs attention. He has a huge potential and can become a world-class striker if he continuous improvement. In this campaign, Arp already played 17 matches, scored 4 goals and made 2 assists in all competition.
This is an impressive result and he can do much more with his new club. Bayern Munich have bad results in the Bundesliga as they are in a second place in the table and Borussia Dortmund have a big chance to win the tournament. Bavarians need new creative attackers as Ribery and Robben playing their last season in German club and they prepare retirement in this summer. Niko Kovac also signed Stuttgart defender Benjamin Pavatrd with a €35m deal.
He played amazingly in the 2018 World Cup as he helped Les Bleus to win the tournament and several big clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal were also interested to sign him. London club also need a new high-class centre-forward as Olivier Giroud and Gonzalo Higuain already up to 30 and their replacement is necessary. Maurizio Sarri already have several options on his list and planning to make a bid during the summer transfer window. Italian manager wants to strengthen the squad much more and fight for the titles with Chelsea.
