Official: Chelsea footballer joined Italian club with a €10m deal
Torino finally completed signing Chelsea defender Ola Aina and Nigeria international pen five-year deal with the Italian club. He established himself excellently in Serie A, and Walter Mazzarri decided to make a permanent move during the summer transfer window. Lorenzo De Silvestri already 31-year-old, and his replacement is necessary.
Fiorentina was also interested in signing him, but Torino won the battle for the footballer. Aina joined the Bull from the London club with a €10m deal. He is a very talented player and can achieve big success if he continuous improvement.
In this season, Olan made 32 appearances, scored one goal and provided three assists in all competition. It is a good result, and he can do much more during the next campaign. The 22-year-old right-back has contracted with the Italian club until 2023, and his release clause is around £20m.
His price could increase during this June and become much more. Nigerian defender regularly plays in the national team which is already a significant achievement for the footballer. He wanted to get regular game time and preferred to leave Chelsea during the summer transfer window. Bull had a great result in Serie A as they finished the competition in a 7th place.
Torino signed several players last summer like M’Baye Niang from Milan, Tomas Rincon from Juventus, Bremer from Atletico Mineiro, Soualiho Meïté from Monaco, Armando Izzo from Genoa, Nicolas N’Koulou from Lyon, Simone Zaza from Valencia and Roberto Soriano from Villarreal. The Italian club also added Nantes centre-back Koffi Djidji and Inter Milan defender Cristian Ansaldi.
