Parisians leading race to sign 23-year-old Gunners transfer target

Parisians are leading the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Julian Weigl and ready to compete with Arsenal and Roma for the footballer. Thomas Tuchel wants to improve the midfield, and his primary target is the Germany international who has an excellent campaign and proves his worth one more time.

Adrien Rabiot preparing to change the working place, Marco Verratti linked with several clubs, Giovani Lo Celso moved to Real Betis, and they need back-up. German manager will do everything to add him this July, but it will be difficult as Gunners and Giallorossi also planning to make a bid during the transfer window.

There will be a contest for the player, and his price could become much more. Julian joined the BVB from TSV 1860 Munich in 2015 with a €3m deal. He became an unchanged figure for the club and played many matches amazingly since joining. In this season, Weigl already made 20 appearances and scored one goal in all tournament.

It is an impressive result, and he can do much more with high-class partners. The 23-year-old midfielder has contracted with the German club until 2021, and his release clause is around €20m. He is a regular member of the national team which is already a significant achievement for the player.

Parisians have a fantastic consequence in Ligue 1 as they are leading the table and have the opportunity to win the tournament one more time. French club signed several footballers last summer like Thilo Kehrer from Schalke 04, Juan Bernat from Bayern Munich, Kylian Mbappe from Monaco, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting from Stoke City and Gianluigi Buffon from Juventus. PSG also added Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes this January.
