Real Madrid in bidding war for £200,000-a-week Liverpool superstar

Real Madrid are said to be preparing a €150m offer for Merseyside club forward Mohamed Salah should they miss out on the signing of Kylian Mbappe.

Los Blancos are keen to land French star’s signature soon and bring him to the Madrid, however, should they fail to do so, the club have already singled out the man they’re looking at a back-up option.

As per the same report, La Liga giants are eyeing up Egypt international as the man they’ll go for should they miss out on Mbappe, with the Spanish club already setting €150m aside in preparation for a swoop.

Mohamed has been one of the best attackers on the planet since the start of the 2017/18 campaign, thus we’re sure Los Blancos fans wouldn’t be too sad if their side missed on France international only as long as they signed Salah.

During his time at Anfield, the former Roma and Chelsea man has mustered up a total of 79 goals and 34 assists in 120 matches, a phenomenal record for a winger who often plays out wide.

The 27-year-old forward has been a key part of Liverpool’s side ever since he was brought in, with the star helping the Merseyside club win a Champions League and European Super Cup during his time on Liverpool.

It’ll be interesting to see if €150m is enough to convince the Reds into letting Egyptian star leave at any point soon, however, given how important he’s been to Liverpool these past few years, they’ll probably be wanting a bit more than that.
